Question about Bissell 9400 ProHeat Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum
I bought the machine Oct. 2007. The solution isn't emptying from the solution tank when I use my cleaner. I called the Bissell service number for help and they had me try these things: 1-When depressed, solution does come out of the x-valve on the cap of the solution tank. 2-The cleaning strength dial was set to normal clean and light clean during my cleanings. I was then referred to a local repair company.
Do you have any suggestions for me to try to fix this at home before taking it to be serviced?
First make sure the solution bottle is seated correctly and the machine solution inlet is free from any debris
try the hose part of the machine,
See if water comes out of the hose ; Set the dial to heavy traffic, then put a pencil mark on the solution bottle level with the solution liquid ,
See if the solution level goes down
see if water is coming out of the spray tips under the machine
The spray tips could be blocked .
