Question about Frigidaire Refrigerators
You have a faulty solenoid problem. If you remove the ice maker bucket you should see a lever on the bottom of the bucket that engages the solenoid at the back of the freezer. You will have to remove the back cover to access this part. hope this helps

I understand that you are receiving crushed ice even when you request cubed ice. It could be an issue within your control panel or solenoid. Since it could be any one of these under lying issues I would recommend having a technician come out to properly diagnose your appliance. Hope this is helpful. -Matt
