My suggestion would be to call logitech but I don't believe they sells parts, your probably going to have to replace the whole speaker system.

Here is the tech support number for logitech:

I have a Kenwood KC 105 preamp and the volume is stuck on high. I turn the volume knob but it does nothing. Any suggestions?

Looks like you are going to have to replace the potentiometer, AKA volume control. It must be shorted out inside (probably) or knob came off the shaft. (doubtful)

Pioneer vsx1021k volume drops by itself at 3db increments until there is no volume. M volume is displayed when this happens as if someone was manually turning the volume knob.

Dirty rotary encoder (volume control ). If you are confident with opening the unit yourself, a spray of contact cleaner into the encoder might help. Ideally u should replace it.
OR
The volume minus button on your remote is dirty/shorted. Try removing remote control batteries and see if the issue disappears.

Sound cuts off, but if I touch the master volume contorl knob it comes on for a short time. Do I need a new knob, or something else?

Possible that there is fault in the preamp analogue/logic control. When you touch the volume control knob the static from you partially injects the circuit to work and thereby conduct to produce the volume.
The volume controller is an analogue rheostat coupled to a circuit that can be the suspect , it can even be a fault- open circuit- of the controller.
You can remove the top cover after disconnecting the power supply and check behind the volume knob for the circuit. If you are able to test this circuit , it will confirm the case.

Volume control knob broken on front of Toshiba Satellite M45 S2692 laptop. no sound now at all from laptop???

This cannot be fixed any way other than repairing the knob or short circuiting the contacts where the potentiometer used to be (not recommended) as your volume will be on full all the time although you could use windows to software turn it down. because if you are going to do that, it wouldnt be much more work to replace the knob.

Replace unit or get serviced only a qualified tech would be able to replace this, also you can try to pull out on the volume or push in then turn or even take the knob off and check for short. must replace knob.

I am having problems with the volume knob. The

That is a dirty pot switch.. The volume adjusting pot gets dirty.. Two things to try..

1.) With the unit off - spinn the volume min to max many many times at a rapid pace.. This sometimes will displace the debris in the pot..

If that does not work --

2.) Get some "tuner cleaner" in a spray can.. At Radio Shack or a similar store.. Lay the radio on its back so the volume knob is facing up.. Pull the knob off carefully.. Use short controlled bursts of the spray.. A few sprays and spin the knob min to max several times and repeat..

Good luck..

you can bypass the volume controller and use the master control. just take out the volume controller and splice the wires from there straight to master control.

Volume varies by itself on the Yamaha htr5840 Receiver

The pod that controls the volume knob is either very dirty or needs replaced! (If you remove knob you will see the shaft of the volume pod go into the pod itself) You may try cleaning with a can of high pressure air by spraying short bursts of air in and around the pod area! If that doesent work you will have to replace the volume pod!...Please rate my response! Thank You!

Volume knob quirks

if you know how to repair, then replace the volume control switch. it is a digital type/mechanical type of switch with silicone oil on it to prevent sudden turn of volume. if i were the repairman i can simply clean the contacts of the volume control and pour silicon oil again. but i really dont know in your area if they try to clean those.
