Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The solution i gave you earlier was not for your question. The clicking of ignitor is not a normal thing and you'll need to get your coil valves checked, also examine pilot for any short in the circuit.

Please do rate the solution & revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

I have a empire propane gas heater when it comes on it heats but when it shuts off you here a little click then the pilot goes out I have plenty of propane why is this happening ?

sounds like that might be the normal if it is electronic ignitor they do not need pilots on full time if it is not then the pilot flame is either too small or the thermo couple is going bad.

Heater will not come on...gas flows but no igniton...measured voltage to the ignitor=92vac..resistance of ingitor= 60 OHMS

Ive never heard of an ignitor on this model getting 92 VAC. It should be 120 volt.
If the ignitor is getting voltage when it is supposed to , but its not glowing like normal, replace ignitor. And also find out whats up with your electrical.

My reddy heater ignitor button will not click

No click at all? Replace the ignitor. Click but no spark, the wire broke off the sparker.

Find a replacement where you got the heater or at any full service gas supplier (dont forget the guy that sells BBQ equipment)
