Question about Nikon Coolpix 4300 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Nikon cooplix 4300 worked for 5 years fine now it will turn on take one picture and then when I press the button to take another picture it won't work (the button physical won't go down to take the picture). If I turn it off and turn it back on again, it does the same thing, takes one picture and then nothing. I think something is wrong with the button?

What does the battery icon show? If it shows an almost depleted battery the camera will only let you take one picture, then disable it from taking any more.
It's possible the battery won't hold a charge, so you should consider testing the camera further using an external charger or getting a new battery.

I have a Nikon cooplix L18, I took a pictures with the date on, I want to print without date How can I do it?

From the Setup menu, select Date Imprint and turn it off. This will keep the camera from putting the date into the picture area in the future. It will not affect pictures you've already taken.

To get to the Setup menu from the Easy Auto mode, press MENU.

To get to the Setup menu from the other modes, press MENU to bring up the shooting menu, then use the multiselector to select Setup and press OK.

How do you turn off the flash on the 4300

There is a button beside "menu" that has a lightning bolt and an eye under it. Press it. Top-right corner of your screen, you'll be able to scroll through the settings.

Nikon 4300 CF Card Erro

The Nikon Coolpix 4300 only supports the FAT16 filesystem, so it can only support a 2GB partition. To support 4GB you need a FAT32 filesystem.
Put the card in a CF writer and attached to a PC or Mac. Partition 2x2GB partitions, then format them as FAT16. Now put it into the Coolpix 4300 and it should work.
