Thanks to "Guest" who suggested to turn it so that side's facing up. The eject button is back in place for now.

I think spring is not working! It should be there only to close! Or else you have to keep some support to close it!

Mine does the same thing. if you turn it so that side's facing up, and push it in, it should stay in for a while.

Trouble installing the memory card.

Is this the original memory card? if not! and you recently bought one card, sounds like the right configuration but it is a bit to long for the camera body. I suggest taking it to a camera shop to make sure it is the right card.

Cd in macbook wont ejec

This can be a problem. First try rebooting the machine, and holding the eject button when you hear the startup tone. Hopefully, that will force-eject it.
If that doesn't work, you'll need to get creative. Get a playing card or something similar, and put some rolled-over tape on one side close to the edge, so there's a sticky side out. Turn the computer off, and try to get the playing card into the CD drive, with the tape making contact with the stuck CD. Reboot, holding the eject button when you hear the eject button again, and pulling the card out. Hopefully, the CD will come out with the card. If it doesn't work, just keep trying, and you'll get it out eventually.
Generally what causes this is keeping CDs in the computer for an extended period of time, especially while the computer is powered off. Make sure you remove all CDs before moving or turning off your computer.

Can I upgrade my b/c wifi card to an n wifi card

99% of laptops come with wireless card built in to motherboard so to do upgrade would be very useless and expensive. easier way to upgrade to N wifi would be to just get a PCMCIA wireless n card from any pc store and plug it in to a available pcmcia slot. first make sure it is available on your laptop. it is on ether left or right side of laptop.usually has a little button that can be pushed to eject ether the card that is in or the plastic piece that is put in there to close the is a link with how some of them look like. hope this helps.

Disk won't eject on my iMac

Ok, I assume you have hit the eject button on the keyboard. Try dragging the CD icon on the desktop to the trash can. If that doesn't work, Shut down the computer and start up while holding down the mouse button. This may take some time, but keep your finger on the mouse button right up until the disc comes out or the log-in screen has appeared. Some Macintoshes have a paperclip hole that you can insert a straightened paperclip into, manually triggering the eject mechanism. Another option is to open Disk Utility and choose the disc you wish to eject in the left-hand pane, then click on the Eject button. Sometimes you can successfully use the eject disc button in iTunes even if the disc is not visible to the Finder. Another option is to Open Terminal and type "drutil tray eject" to eject the disc/tray, and "drutil tray close" to close the tray. Lastly if your computer has an eject button on the keyboard, restart the computer holding down the Option key. When the startup disk selection screen appears, let go of the option key and press the keyboard's eject button. One of these should work.

The nexlink CL51 has a small button that you depress to eject a plastic card. How do you keep the button from sticking out?

After you eject the PCMCIA card you can push the button in until it clicks and stays in. Now you insert your PCMCIA card into the slot and if you want to eject the card you push the button and it will pop out then press the button to eject the card.
If this pressing the button in doesn't lock the button in place, then the spring catch on the button is broken.

On the left side of the machine i pushed a button and a small pa

That is the PCMCIA eject button. With no card in the PCMCIA slot (Slot empty) you should be able to push the button in slowly till it clicks, then release and the button should stay in. Then re-insert the blank filler or card you had in the slot. (To engage the retention detent, you have to press the button in slightly past the outside of the chassis)

If the button will not engage the detent, then the motherboard will need to be replaced to fix it (The button is part of the motherboard)

pixel.gif INSTALLATION or to find where pc card enters:

PC-Card slot is generally located on the left or right hand side of your portable computer and will generally have two available locations for cards to be connect/ the card into the laptop horizontally.
generally the PC-Card button will pop out. Once the card is within the computer, the software should either make a tone or a message should appear indicating that the card has been detected on the computer. To eject the card, press the PC-Card button which will come out halfway and give you enough working space to pull the card out the remainder of the way.

Hope this helps ya, Please dont for get to Vote.Thank You

There should be a PCMCIA port on the left side under the keyboard. You may have to eject the plastic spacer from the slot. the eject button is to the left of the slot.
