Electrolux dishwasher fdb2310lcc1 flashing cl on display

Hello sandy miller, thanks for your post!
From my understanding your Electrolux dishwasher is flashing "CL". Typically, that stands for close door it could be an issue with the control panel, door latch, or door strike. I would recommend having a professional technician come out to properly diagnosis your dishwasher to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. Hope this helps. -Matt

Why does display flashes "cl"?

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand the display is flashing "cl" on your Frigidaire dishwasher, model# GLD2450RD. The "cl" code you are seeing is stating to close your dishwasher door. The status indicator lights will also flash to indicate current cycle status. If the door is closed, try pushing it in just to make sure. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Our dishwasher is blinking CL - i think this means 'Close'... Even when the door is properly closed, it blinks CL and won't start!! Help!

Hi

Error CL appears when the dishwasher control detects door switch is open or door is open. You'll have to open the door and check the continuity of the door switch. If the door seems to be closed then it is the control has detected an issue with the door latch. Check the door latch & seals to make sure door is closing fine. Unplug the dishwasher from power outlet and wait for 10-15 minutes. Restart the dishwasher and check if the error is still there. If error still appears then you'll need to repalce the door switch/door latch. Hope this helps... Please post back for further assistance.

Flashes "CL" to close door when it is closed and won't start

The door switch has failed. There is a video at www.appliancehelponline.com/servicemanual.html that will walk you thru testing and replacing. It may be a different model but the process will be the same. You can also enter your model # for diagrams and illustrations of your specific model.

Error code cl

See the CL error and the door is indeed shut, pull gently back on the door. if you hear a click and the unit starts running again, it may be the gasket. It could be that the unit is off balance making the door not even or enough play in the door so that the locking mechanisim thinking that the door was not closed try that.

Error Code: CL
Reason for the Code: Door switch open or door is open
Possible Component to replace: Door latch

Hope helps with this. Good luck.

Frigidaire pld3460rdc1 the dishwasher flashed CL when the door is closed.

The CL is letting you know that the door was closed. If it continues to show CL it means you need to close and latch before the cycle will run. If it just flashes your okay.
