Thank you Terry. That is the right manual. Looks like I only need to get a new battery.

SOURCE: Uniden Dect 6.0, the base keeps beeping

You have your answering machine set up to beep when you get a new message. Go through the menu for setting up the answering machine and turn that feature off.

SOURCE: cant register/install a new dect 6.0 uniden 2060 phone

I had a similar problem which I finally fixed. You did not say if any of your phones registered.
First try the following recommended by Uniden Support:
Your phone(s) should be fully charged before putting them on the main base.
Unplug the battery from the phone by removing the battery cover and removing the connector. Then, push the # and * key together and hold while you plug the battery back in (requires some dexterity). Continue to hold the two keys until you hear a confirmation tone. This will force the phone to reregister. Put the phone on the main base (if you are sure it has a fully charged battery) and see if it will reregister it to solve the problem.
That did not work for me. So, I followed the instructions to de-register the handset (even though it hadn't really registered). But, I also pretended like the Base was not available (because using the base in this step also failed).
1) Press and hold the hang up and # keys for at least 5 seconds.
2) Move the cursor to select Base Unavailable and then press Select.
3) Select the base you want to deregister from, press Select and then move the cursor to Yes and select.
This causes the phone to delete any of its base information.
At this point, again insure that your phone shows the battery is fully charged and if it is not, put it on the stand alone charger base (not the main base). With the battery fully charged, place it on the base and try registering again by placing it in the main base.
If neither of these approaches help, contact support at Uniden.com.
However, my problems were cleared when I cleared the handset with the second set of instructions.

SOURCE: my cordless phone says

With the phone in standby, press MENU/SELECT on the base.
Move the cursor to select the Register Handset menu, and then press MENU/SELECT. Handset Registering will appear.
On the handset, press and hold # until the handset beeps and displays Handset Registering.
When the handset has registered to the base, the LCD will display Registration Complete then show the handset ID number.
If the display shows Registration failed, repeat the process again.
Note: If a handset has ever been registered to a base, reset the handset before you register it to a new base

SOURCE: UNIDEN DECT 6.0

DECT 6.0 is not a model number, it's the generic name for the cordless phone technology in use. So I can't give you a more specific link than this one, which takes you to Uniden's download page for manuals. Pick your model from the list, and the manual will explain the steps you'll need to follow. Your phone's model number is on a sticker normally found on the rear or bottom of the base unit.

I have lost my manual and i dont know how to record a personal message on my answering machine and how to enter the code to retrieve my messages from another phone.

From your handset, you just have to press the mute button, your phone should start telling you the time, date, ect. press the #5 key and then the #8 key and start recording your message. When finished press the # 8 key again. Hope this helps

Hello, I am looking to replace my Uniden cordless phone battery EXA14248. Do you have it??

I have searched various stores which carry battery replacements.I even searched uniden.com .We had the same problem with our old phone.Your phone seems to be outdated enough so that there are no replacement batteries.Us too.I think the makers do it on purpose to sell newer phones as much as possible.Wish I had better news but those are the facts. The new technology is DECT 6.0 phones which actaually works at 1.9 GHz.Kind of strange since the previous products were 5.8 GHz.But DECT is supposed to have wider range to walk around your house with, clearer sound and a couple of other "advantages".If you do decide to buy DECT,do some research. There are forums all over the web where people give opinions/reviews of ones they have already bought and are using.Just google DECT phones and all kinds of stuff appears.AT&T's seemed to have the better reviews but there are a couple of others which rated well also.I have had numerous Unidens, and you think they would improve, but I have been disappointed and will never buy another Uniden, however the decision is yours.Wish I had better news.Good luck! How to stop an ecco when i talk on the hand piece MODEL DECT 2035

The phone may have excessive delay on the voice going back to your telephone company. That along with a poor line could cause this.

Are you using DSL, VoIP, Digital Phone from your cale company or just the traditional phone line to your phone company?
