Everytime I open the program, it starts up and then you get a message saying that a program has caused a problem and I will be notified when the problem is found, but haven't heard anything. What can I do about this?

Uploading pics to mac from SD card in camera

Have you tried using an external card reader?

They look similar to this at Wal-Mart:

I own a mac and always use an external usb card reader to download my pics and it works great. Also, I know that you need to get your pics off first, but you may need to reformat you card at some point so that it will read faster and work quicker in your camera.

For your software issue, have you tried download the software from kodak's website? The program shouldn't cause your apple to crash. I would try re-installing it from there website.

Camrea turns off everytime I connect it to the computer

Have you loaded the easy share software to the computer prior to connecting for the first time? Windows is funny about that so first reload the software (uninstall it if you must) then shut down the computer then restart it. (assuming Windows XP) Make sure you can open the program without the camera attached. Fill out and register it then exit the program, attach the connector and you should see that the camera is recognized and the software should restart and then you should be able to transfer your photos into the album or folder option of your choice. Just check the installation instructions to make sure the program is off before you connect the camera. Early versions only worked when it was started.

Camera not loading to computer, but did before

Depending on your operating system (Mac OS X, XP, Vista) and computer it could be a couple things. Try different ways of connecting the camera such as starting the Kodak Easyshare program first, giving it time to load, before connecting and turning on the camera. Or connect the camera and power it up before starting the program. I have had better luck starting the program first but it doesn't work that way in all situations. In some cases it doesn't matter.

Kodak dx 6490

Try uninstalling the program and then install the earlier version via the CD that came with the camera. If your computer has a built in SD reader, you could use the drag and drop method of transferring your photos as I find that is the easiest and hassle-free way.

Kodak easyshare DX 4530

I have upgraded my Easy share software to version 7.1 ever since I cannot open the program. It comes up with The message of "One or more system DLL's could not be loaded :ES App.dll " then appears the message of "Easyshare unable to run. Please run Setup and choose repair to fix the application.[0,5006,0] " . When I run the repair program, it blocks part way through and the error message of 1334x97x3839719742x appears. Short of getting rid of Kodak off my computer which I dont want to do as I have important pics in the album, and I have a Kodak digital camera. What can I do to fix.
