How do I wind the bobbin on a janome memory craft 4800

Memory Craft has a bobbin winder on top of the machine.  It works beautifully, but wind it on slowly for better sewing function.

Hi,

You need to replace the rubber ring.This rubber ring just snaps on and you can do it yourself, just click on the link below to order a new one from Sears.It is the most common problem with the bobbin winder, I have changed many over the years.You need to remove the screws as it would be under cover.

Do you mean the spool will not fill tightly? It sounds like it is not sitting securely. Not sure about your machine but they usually click into place.
