Re: frigidaire convection free standing range

New ranges come set for natural gas. in the installation instuctions there should be instruction for converting the range to lp. some models require that the orafice for the burners be replaced as part of the coversion, if so the there should be a pack of them with the new range. others you just have to tighten the orafices that are all ready in the range. you installation guide will tell you which one you have to do

Convert ge pgs975 to propane

You should be able to contact either GE or the shop you purchased it from & get a gas jet kit for it, which will make the conversion for you. They are pretty simple & can be installed by anyone with reasonable DIY skills. If you are not that person, it is a simple enough job that it should not be outrageously expensive. If you have a local heating & air conditioning person you trust they can make the change over for you & will probably be more reasonable on price.

My Frigidaire FGFL67DBF gas oven does not reach the temperature set. I tried to calibrating the control, but it did not work. Any suggestions?

I believe that you have a convection oven.... by design, convection ovens built by GE come up to 25 degrees below the set level .... when the Convection function is enabled.

Installation of gas convection oven range

check the specs on the oven you are planning to buy(the retailer should be able to provide this imformation)they should give you a recommended location for the gas feed in relation to the oven.the feed will need to be relocated to this location.if you are not comfortable doing this yourself (always use caution & common sense when working with natural gas).i would call in a proffesional, alot of times your local gas company will do this for a nominal fee, somtimes for free.hope this helps.thanx for using fix-ya!!!
