Bad lines on Infocus IN24 images

There are thin vertical lines running from top to bottom. Even in the splash screen. They're in groups of 3 with a wider space between each group. Any solutions? Thank you, Dan

Re: Bad lines on Infocus IN24 images

Hi Dan

The only way to get rid of this is to either have the Mianboard repaired or replaced.

If the Projector is stil under warranty - it will cover it.

If not - It is quite expensive !

Hope this helps you.

Infocus DP8400x blue hazey line

this discoloration is the begining of the lcd panel being thermal damaged. this happens when the projector is being used for a long period of time and then being shut off using the switch on the rear of the projector instead of the on/off on top or the remote. to fix it it will have to be replaced. very expensive major repair.

With my old bulb I recently had black vertical lines. I just put in a new bulb and now the lines multi-colored. How do I get rid of the lines? This problem shows up from my TV and DVD feeds.

reset the settings to factory default. if you don't get the lines on the splash screen when you first start it up, try swapping cables. if that doesn't work or you do get the lines on the splash screen, you have a video processor chip issue. replace the main board.

Scrolling Horizontal lines

This usually happens when some other appliance is causing noise on the AC power. Try powering the projector from an outlet by itself and whatever else you're running from a different outlet, preferrably one on a different circuit breaker if possible.

6 black vertica lines pulsating from top to bottom

possibly a resolution issue (clock and phase). reset the settings to factory default. if that doesn't help, there might be a voltage or colorwheel issue. does the projector chirp? if so, it's the colorwheel. if not, there is a voltage/grounding issue. check to see if the plug has 3 prongs on it. if the round prong is broke off, replace the cord. if not, check the fans. if they all are working, you have a power supply problem that is not regulating the voltage properly. replace the power supply.

White vertical lines in image w/ 2 inch black bar horizontal.

the black bar is from the light tunnel collapsing. the white lines are from the colorwheel or the main board has a cold solder joint. replace the tunnel and colorwheel and have the main board looked at.
