SOURCE: Always paper jam.

Check to see if something isn't blocking the paper path.

You could try cleaning the feed rollers as well.

SOURCE: ricoh aficio 150 paper jam

There are pressure release levers on the fuser --- if they are not in the correct position they will not apply the proper pressure and you will get jamming in that area. The levers are either a light green, light blue or plain black. They should be on the left and right side ( looking in at the fuser. Turn/ flip them and check.

If I move the carriages to the center of the bar they slide on (would be the center of the paper) and close everything it seems to re-load, I've had to do this several times over the last few years and so far it always works

SOURCE: removed paper after paper jam and have opened all

  • Step 1 Turn the printer off and on to see if it can automatically clear some or all of the jam. Many printers provide an error-code listing on the front panel display for the area where the jam occurred. If your printer shows an error code, be sure and check the printer manual to see if that identifies the area of the printer where the jam occurred.
  • Step 2 Turn off the printer.
  • Step 3 Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
  • Step 4 Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
  • Step 5 If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it in a bag or away from light to avoid damaging it.
  • Step 6266_a1.jpg jQuery(document).ready(function(){ jQuery('#jsArticleStep6 span.image a:first').attr('href','http://i.ehow.com/images/ehows/steps/books/266_b1.jpg'); }); If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly (see A). The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
  • Step 7266_a2.jpg jQuery(document).ready(function(){ jQuery('#jsArticleStep7 span.image a:first').attr('href','http://i.ehow.com/images/ehows/steps/books/266_a2.jpg'); }); If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper (see B). Don't force anything, though.
  • Step 8 Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
  • Step 9 If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.

This jam problems are always very difficult to solve without seeing the machine!

you say that it is on the Point C, but that just helps a little.
I can tell you that you have a problem in the duplex door (but you already know that). It could be several things like; transport rollers, gates, solenoids... well, the best help i can give you is to advise you to call your technical support.

Paper jams can be real or false. The unit may report a paper jam when there is not any jammed paper, however, the solution to a real paper jam or a false paper jam is the same. WARNING: Jammed paper must be removed using the rear access door and the power cord must be disconnected or a carriage jam or mechanical damage may occur. Do not remove jammed paper from the front of the unit.
    1. Turn off the HP product and turn it so the back of the unit faces you.
    2. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the all-in-one. The power cord must be disconnected to allow the paper feed rollers to turn freely.
    3. Locate and open the rear access door by pressing in on the left side tab and then pulling the door toward you. Figure 1: Removing the rear access door c00108288.jpg Inspect the pressure rollers on the rear access door and verify that they are clean and turn freely. Clean the rollers if needed with a soft towel lightly moistened with water. If the rollers do not turn freely, replace the rear access door.

    • Do not add paper while the unit is printing.
    • Remove printed pages frequently.
    • Do not use paper that is too thin, too slick, or that stretches.
    • Do not use torn or creased paper. Paper that has been printed previously may cause jams.
    • Make sure the rear access door is securely fastened.
    • If you follow all these guidelines and still have frequent paper jams, you may need to clean the paper rollers.

    1. Turn off the unit, then unplug the power cord.
    2. Remove the rear access door. See the picture above.
    3. Wipe the paper rollers with a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with distilled or bottled water. Rotate the rollers with your fingers to clean all the way around. Figure 7: Paper rollers
    4. Allow the rollers to dry completely, then replace the rear access door. Put the pins on the right end of the door into the holes on the right side of the rear access area, then snap the door shut.

    HP ALL IN ONE PRINTER

Follow these steps to clear paper jam

    Clearing paper jams
Paper jams can be real or false. The unit may report a paper jam even when there is no jammed paper. The solution to a real paper jam or a false paper jam is the same.
    CAUTION:
Jammed paper must be removed using the rear access door with the power cord disconnected to avoid mechanical damage. Do not remove jammed paper from the front of the unit.
    1. Turn off the HP product and turn it around so the back of the unit faces you.

    4. Reinstall the rear access door.
    5. Reconnect the power cord to the unit and turn the unit on.
    Preventing paper jams
The following information will help prevent paper jams from occurring:
    • Never use paper that is torn or wrinkled.
    • If you are having problems using paper that has already been printed on once (recycling), replace it with new paper.
    • Remove and then reinstall the rear access door. Verify that the access door is fully locked in place. The paper can skew if the rear access door is not locked.
    • Every six months to one year, clean the paper feed rollers with a rag lightly moistened with water. Over time the paper feed rollers accumulate dust and do not function as well as they once did.
    • When printing envelopes, tuck the flap into the envelope and crease the folds before printing.
