My Singer 4166 does not stop after it has been sewing for awhile. Neither the buttons or foot pedal stops it’s forward motion. I end up unplugging it Is there a solution?

Is there something caught in the pedal or the button that may be jamming either one, so that the machine continues forward stitching?

Husqvarna mower forward/reverse pedal is stuck in the forward position. Engine runs but transmission not engaging. Cause-probably pushing pedal forward when cruise was set. How can I get it unstuck?

My forward pedal flopped forward and my mower no longer moves forward, only in reverse. Hard to find a diagram to locate the problem. Can anyone help?

Forward pedal went to floor. tractor will not move

Sounds like the actuating rod may have come loose from the transmission. The foot pedal is connected to the transmission by a small rod called the actuating rod. The rod is held into place by a couple of spring clips.

2003 mitsubishi climate control stuck

Follow the cable.. It's the white piece that the cable connects to. Some kind of spring doesnt push the white piece forward far enough to select a hot temperature. You can adjust it yourself from the driver's seat at a red light. It feels like flat lever against the dash/transmission tunnel. Push forward for heat, pull back for AC. There's a spring busted or something and the knob can't overcome the required force... Just manipulate it manually. You can see the white lever mechanism clear as day if you open the driver's door, crouch down and look for the big white piece. My guess is that it has a internal tensioner or spring that crapped out.

Pedals don't turn the front wheel.

You have to take off the tire, pull back the red cap along the pedal post and then pop the white plate off (small flathead screwdriver) to expose the inner hub off the wheel. There is a small metal plate with four screws...maybe the older kids snapped off the screws. You'll need a small flathead screwdriver, pliers or adjustable wrench and regular sized phillips screwdriver.

Broken clutch pedal

The shaft attached to the pedal connects to a device that changes the forward motion of the pedal to a backward motion to the clutch. These shafts are attached with cotter pins and you might be lucky and simply broke one. Check this site for how a clutch works: http://auto.howstuffworks.com/clutch.htm

Reattaching the shafts with new cotter pins isn't hard. But if one is broken, you have to get a replacement. Try a junk yard, it's cheaper.
