Have you replaced the lamp before? If not, I recommend you do it, since it may be what's causing this. There is power on the TV since you get the blinking light, so it's most probable the lamp.

TV wont come on

Blinking power light indicates fault. From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. These are called blinking codes. To know more about these blinking coded, visit the site. It has details about blinking codes to many brand TVs. Pull up older posts. If you search the site in Timeslide option, which can be selected from the drop down list at the top left of the display window, it will be easy to locate the related post. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

Tv won't turn on. It blinks green then red.

Hi,
Question shows tv is Sony KDF-60WF655.
Green light blinks when tv gets prepare to fire up lamp, check internal circuits then show picture on front screen.
Red light blinking shows some kind of internal problem during circuit check and protection got activated upon some failure.
Count the red light blink as you will see 3 second long pause and post it here to diagnose what section of tv got problem.
Did you replaced its lamp in last 2-3 years?
Thanks.

The tv wont turn on. the red light blinks 9 times.

There is a problem with one or two of the diodes on the G board.
Zero Crossing Detector 9 times 9:0 or 9:1
Probable cause • D6116 or D6301 is open (G Board)
symptom • No picture
I hope this helps and good luck!

Tv wont turn on

The green light flashing indicates an error code, plasma tv's cannot be repaired at home without the right equipment and service manual, the fault could be power supply, processor or virtually anything, what technicians look for is the frequency of the blinking and the time between sets of blinks, this normally gives the tech a code that enables them to go to the right area, the only thing anyone can tell you is that the processor is probably ok, you really need to get a quote or count the blinking and the timing eg: "blink blink short pause blink), and repost the fault, then we can possibly tell you where to look...Phil

Toshiba 52Hmx94

How many times does it blink?
I replaced the ballast in my 62HM84 and it fixed it. The problem was TV would not turn On, Red light solid green light blinked 9 times then TV would try to restart. At first I thought it might of been the bulb, so I replaced it, same results. Next I replaced the ballast which is pretty easy, just take pictures before you remove the light engine so you can go back to the picture to verify the connections when reinstalling.
