SOURCE: Lc 39le440m no picture, Backlight ok.How to repair?

The tcon bard or the LCD panel is faulty. Can confirm by replacing the TCON board.

You need new LED backlight strips, a power/inverter board can cause this as well but on Sharp-Hisense sets it's been the backlights that are bad in most sets we repair in our service center.

lc-39le440m does have a usb media player ,if you able to view file in the drive ,but unable to play it file format might wrong , else the port/board is damaged

Ur T-con board is the cause,this board sit right in the middle botton of the LCD panel of the screen.This board is defective must be change.

Ur LCD backlight inverter board is dead.Replaced this board will get picture back.Tries Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish LCD backlight inverter board,it a long board shape.

My Sharp TV will only hear sound. No picture or images even from the tv menu setup option. Model# LC-19SB25U. About 1.5 yrs old. Converter box ok.

In most cases, you can reset the TV by leaving it unplugged for 30mins.
If this doesn't work, I believe the circuit board that supplies power to the screen maybe bad. They call this board a backlight inverter board. It would most likely cost more to repair than replace the TV .

Do you still have this, I need a part myself and having trouble sourcing parts?

Sounds like a lamp error.... either a defective or broken lamp within the LCD

panel itself, or you have a bad inverter.
