I need Craftsman 68009 and 68007 parts. Craftsman has discontinued this with no replacement part. Any ideas of where to get them?

sears or craftsman.com would usually have a cross number attached but can also check parts thru aftermarket companies or online search

Nobody has that part. When you replace opener stay away from craftsman. Go to Home Depot and buy a chamberlain, they are not that expensive, you should be able to buy one for $125.00 which is a little motor than a replacement motor .

Normally Sears is pretty good with older part . But if they do not have any go to a saw repair shop and see what they can do for you

I have the same saw and my shaft was also worn out. I was frustrated that there is no replacement part. Here's what I did (and it's worked great - so far): I put JB weld (metal epoxy) on the worn section of shaft and let it cure overnight. I then chucked the shaft in my drill press and ground the JB weld back to the correct diameter by holding a metal file against it. I polished it smooth with some 800 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Replaced it in the saw and it works with no wobble.

Check for Sears parts online or see if Black & Decker has a similar part.
