Question about Xerox Phaser 8400 Laser Printer
Any clues will be greatly appreciated.
By removing the top and side covers, you can access the printhead. It has just become stuck so if you can pop it loose, you're halfway there. The hard part is timing the process drive and homing the maintenance wiper. Best bet is to find a local tech that is comfortable with this type of printer. A good tech can do this in less than 1 hour of billable time.

Printhead got stuck.....possible ink spill.
if u are a printer tech. then you would have to pull out the printhead and clean the area by the base of the printhead also check that the plastica Retainers(of the printhead) are not broken, then put it back.
