I read this on-line and it worked for me - - pour HOT bleach water down the drain once you get the ice out. I had this problem for ages and would periodically clear the ice out of the bottom of the freezer but since the bleach water went down that hole it has been clear for months. Of course I discovered my s/s had been recalled for a water problem.
The GE recalls are a joke anyway - a credit toward buying another GE product. Nope, I am replacing my GE's one at a time with a different vendor.
SOURCE: Whirlpool Cabrio Washer- When draining, water leaks out of hole
probably rubber hose from tub to pump broke, access from back or bottom, (cabrios are open bottom) pump in rear. there is a recent bulletin about tub ring not channeling water from dispenser completely into tub
Right hand side wall in the freezer - take a look- any frozen water or moisture? Need check a drain line, usually defrost heater inside the freezer wall getting bad and draining water just freezing inside of it.

DodgeDakotas dot com has a lot of postngs about water under the Dakota's passenger side carpeting. My own 2005 is leaking, too. Main culprits to check: AC drain tube @ firewall (I think that some Dakotas had to have a 90-degree tube added to the outside end so that water wouldn't blow back into the cab. Great desing, Dodge. Rear window seal; Along the right-side window/roof pillar; the gromment in the passenger side door for a wire pathway. Sounds like some get this fixed under warranty - others meet w. resistance. Good Luck!

The tub seal is leaking, often this damages the transmission. A new tub seal comes with the transmission this page should help http://www.appliance-repair-it.com/GE-washer-disassembly.html
