Hoover Freemotion Pets 200W has lost most of it's suction!

Was working fine then csme to use it this morning and although the motor is whirring away powerfully, there is virtually no suction! It's been emptied and there are no blockages anywhere

if you take out the dirt cup at the top there should be a half moon orange that releases. inside of this half moon is a washable filter. rinse with warm water and let it dry completly before putting back into the machine. this should restore your suction. hope this helps.

looks like the belt that controls the brush spinning is too loose. it makes a horrible noise too.
