All of this info will come with the equiptment. It will have a spec plate on the motor with all the info also.
Normally #14 wire or better with at least a 15 amp breaker that is double pole. If it needs more than 15 amps it can be swapped out for a 20 amp.

How many watts does a old gibson 21.6 cu ft freezer use

Check the nametag on the fridge and take note of the total amperage draw of the unit. That that reading, and multiply it by 120 volts and the resultant answer will the the total wattage of the unit... If you want to get it precise, measure the applied voltage at the receptacle where it is plugged in. Your 120 volt circuit may really be supplying 125 volts or more and that will effect the calculation....though minimally.

I just bought the Pondmaster 260 pump from Overstock. There are NO instructions in the kit. Do you have a manual I could download on line? Thank you. Ellen Goodell

The manual is located on the Pondmaster site in PDF format: http://www.pondmaster.com/instructionsheets/ZG098.PDF

If you need the program to view it the reader is free at: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html

My ryobie bench grinder keeps tripping the rcd within a second of turning it on?

Assuming your local tech confirms that your bench grinder tests ok. The problem is probably that the grinder draws too much current for the RCD and is therefore detected as an earth leakage. High amperage devices often do that. Your best bet would be to plug it in to a socket which is on a non-rcd circuit. Maybe you have an RCD on the whole house though? I would start with returning the grinder and trying a different brand with a lower amperage/wattage rating. If that doesnt work, I would call an electrician to discuss installing a different RCD or running a separate circuit for your power tools.

Pondmaster 1200gph pump stopped working. Inside

Sounds like the impeller broke.

Just remove the 4 phillips head screws to remove the housing, then pull the impeller out. When replacing the impeller be sure to have a good grip on it as the magnetic attraction will pull it in pretty hard.

The pump may still be under warranty, if so call the number on this web page: You can also order parts from them.

I have a Faema S87-2 and need to know what the amperage is for it. It's listed as a 220v. Anyone have the specs for the amperage?

They are usually 30 amps. However if you have the wattage for the element Faema usually is 2600-4000, divide wattage by voltage ( at receptacle could be anywhere from 200-240), then multipy by 1.25 for draw, that should give you your amerage needed.

Kenmore electric range 7909083461 not reaching temp

The technician is right.  The electrician should know that amperage X voltage = wattage.  So if you lower the voltage then you lower the wattage.  The element is like a light bulb, the higher the wattage the brighter or hotter it will be.  208 volts is at the minimum so the element won't be as hot as it should be.  208 volts is just enough to make it work.  Would appreciate a solved rating for expert advice.

Wattage

Well I guess, one can look at the electrical name plate of the model in question. Note the voltage and amp rating. and sometimes the wattage is listed. Or multiply the voltage 120 times the amperage. The product is your wattage. regards, fmauka
