Question about Sony Grand WEGA KDF-60WF655 60" Rear Projection HDTV
Service repair WANTS $1000.00 TO FIX. I HEAR THEIR MWAS A RECALL BUT, THEY DIDN'T TELL ANYONE OF THE PROBLEM..LAST TIME I WILL BUY A SONY PRODUCT..
Sony is very hush hush over their product recalls and service bulletins, I know this after being in the business for over 20 years. I can neither confirm, nor deny that there is a recall on your set. Just call the customer service hot line 1-800-222-SONY and tell them your concerns. I can also inform you that yelling and cussing will get you no where with them. They are customer service personnel, just state your case and let them know that you are a loyal Sony customer, and that you need help on your product.
Be persistent but not rude and you can get a lot from them, restate the current economy and your position with purchasing a new set in lieu of repair.
Please consider this communication as confidential as I could be jeopardizing my position with Sony.
