I doubt very much if it is your monitor which is infected rather your PC still is and I suspect antivirus was not completely removed. As you are obviously not an advanced user (no disrespect, but you would not have been infected in the first place.) it would only serve to confuse you even more to describe how to attempt to manually remove it in safe mode. Is there a small computer shop near to you as PC world and the other "Big Boys" would charge you a rediculous amount for basically 30 mins work. Do you have a friend who is PC savvy enough to know how to boot in safe mode and follow instructions on the removal. I can help you with this (again no disrespect) but I need to be sure the person at the other end knows what they are doing.

I think is just a coincidence that the monitor went out at the same time. It sounds like you have a problem with the power supply in the monitor. If you can solder you should be able to do the repair yourself. We have pictures posted on our web site at: Just remove the back of the monitor and look for the bad parts as shown in the pictures, replace any that look the same. You can order them from several places on the internet or radio shack. If you don't want to do the repair yourself we have a repair service available. Contact me at if you want us to do the repair, it runs $35 plus return shipping and is fully warrantied.

I hope this helps, If so please rate my solution.

ViewSonic 19" flat screen monitor goes black - intermittently

There could be a problem with your display card settings or the display card itself. If you are using Windows operating system, make sure that you have the monitor driver installed for that specific monitor. This is to ensure that Windows only allows settings for which your particular monitor was designed.
Let me know if I can assist you any further regarding this.
Best wishes,

2 problems with two computer

About the CPU, replace the cooling fan, if it goes off always after same time, then is overheating.

About the virus, read the following:

If the antivirus is not enough use an antimalaware that removes more viruses use this one: Spybot - Search & Destroy - Free software download , install, update, and perform a full system scan.

If that is still not enough, the best thing to do is doing a backup of your files, and reinstalling Windows.
