SOURCE: Mitsubishi Mr Slim mini split outdoor unit fan.

Check the capacitor. Rating must be within 90% of rated microfarads. If it is a dual capacitor test between C and FAN. Set your meter to read microfarads (uF).

Its not working and flashing P6. Its a Mr Slim

dear sir/madam i think.... mr Slim A control R407c & R410a systems.
P6 = indoor coil frost protection in cooling or indoor coil overheat protection in heating.

Cooling
One of the 2 indoor coil sensors reads minus 15 deg C for 3 mins.
Heating
One of the indoor coil sensors reads over 70 deg C.

If you are sure the refrigerant charge is correct & system operation is correct then it could be a coil temperature sensor reading wrong temperature.
If you have one of those little monitor things which plug into the outdoor circuit board you can monitor the indoor coil temperature.
On later type remote controllers you can get all operating data like temp sensor data but you will need a service manual to do this.
Or you can measure the ohms resistance of the temp sensors & compare with the chart in the service manual. if you can do it by yourself do if not then contatct ot mitsubishi maintenance personnnel for furhter action, thank you hope answer the question please vote!

Fan works but compressor does not start. Its a brand new unit

Hi!!
By fan woks you mean inside unit right? assuming so, check remote control settings and battery, set temp.to 70 degrees, a light should come on at the display and seconds later, the compressor should kick in. If Unit is brand new, it should be it. If split units, try another remote, some times those remotes show the display but do not send signal strong enough that the unit can receive it. Try getting closer to the unit.

Water leaking at front of condensor ( inside)unit.

sounds like there might be a blockage in the condensate pan that is not letting all the water drain through the condensate line. if you can access this area try to clean all the debris out

Problem with mitsubishi slim

I am not familiar with a P8 code nor do I understand where you are seeing this But, go to mrslim.com and look under Customer resources, Library and then input your model number. Select Technical & Services. Product Catagory is Mr. Slim Ductless, Sub Catagory is M-series Multi Split, Current models. Remember you have inside units and one outside unit. You will need to look at each model number to find information on both. Usually Mitsubishi's will have two lights that will blink in patterns to indicate what could be wrong. The P8 code is new for this Diamond Dealer!
