sound's like some of the system home screen setting have been deleted or stopped /removed, this phone may have root capabilities with custom software , you should be able to access google play & settings , when unlocked try sliding thumb up from bottom of screen , this may open google , then type play , play store should come up , if you get this far , in search type in custom home launcher , , download the most reliable , & basic , Nova Launcher is one , but I think by memory there is a more basic one to start you of with , just download & install , you'll catch on
Sometimes you can take the battery out while the phone is still on, wait a few seconds, and then pop it back in (this forces the phone to reset itself). If that doesn't work, take it to your local store.

WOW...Hi, bballgurl4321. Unfortunatly that exact same problem jus happened to me earlier this week...what i did was, i took my phone up to a sprint store actually today lol jus got home actually..but i took it up there and LG discontinued the LG Rumor..im guessing from so many deffects and problems that seem like they never stop. ive had 3 diffrent LG Rumors so yea its a horrible phone...but anyway, they replaced my LG Rumor with the new LG Rumor2...the same day...and so far so good..so try that...u should gt the same results and they should give u the free upgraded LG Rumor 2
