SOURCE: card locked on camera

Hi there, to fix this, do this:
Remove the SD card from your camera. Look on the side and you will find a little switch. One end of the switch says locked the other end says unlocked. Move the switch from locked to unlocked. Replace it in your camera and turn it back on.

Thanks for coming to FixYa and fee free to rate my solution.

SOURCE: where can i get the dock for the camera??

Depending on the model, but most Best Buy stores, or any electronics stores and Walmarts or Kmarts may have what you need. If for some reason none of those have it, check on Craigs list, or Ebay.

SOURCE: HP Photosmart R967 memory card is locked...

I have an HP R927 and just had the same problem. Take out your memory card. Look on the side of the card and you will see and white "knobby thing" ... make sure it is pushed up ... that should fix it.

Why wont my HP photosmart R967 turn on battery is new and docking station is fine but it will turn on if connected to docking station

It is likely the battery is not making contact properly or is not getting fully charged.
Check the instructions on battery connection on page 9 and confirm the lights are blinking correctly to show battery is charging.

Spots in the photos (HP Photosmart R967)

Do you see it on the screen as well as on the computer? Then there is something in the camera; dust or debris, and it needs a cleaning. If it is just on the camera screen, there could be a defect on the LCD.

Looking for 2 GB memory card for HP camera- R967

The R967 uses standard SD cards. You should be able to purchase them at any department, electronics, or office-supply store. You may also see them at many drugstores and supermarkets.

Will an SDHC card work in the HP photosmart R927?

No, it won't work unless HP provides a firmware update. Hp has two websites that mention what type of sd cards are compatible with your camera. One says it is and the other says it isn't. I have a HP R967, which is similar to yours. I bought an HP sdhc card from a HP website that said both our cameras could use it. I own several of this model camera, (I bought 3 to give as gifts) and the sdhc causes the cameras to display 'wrong format.' I suggest calling HP's headquarters and asking them to provide a firmware update similar to the one that HP offered for the HP M537 camera and that Casio offered for their older cameras to let them use this type card, which is what I've been doing.

My R967 got a little moisture on my last fishing trip to canada, so I took the battery out and memory card and blew it with a blow dryer, it had blue stips in the monitor and I kept it on the charger for a...

actually the moisture must have entered the leads of the display...

the leads should be removed and then it should be dried so take the moisture off..

better take it to a service centre..it is risk to manually operate the sensitive parts inside and you could end up damaging the display
