Question about Whirlpool Dryers
If the dryer is not heating, check for a faulty thermal fuse or heating element. The thermal fuse is located just inside the rear of the unit, and is usually attached to the exhaust duct. It is about one inch long. The thermal fuse and the heating element can be tested using an ohm meter or multimeter. Check for continuity. If there is none, the component is defective. Sure hope this helped and best wishes.
