SOURCE: My subZero Model 245 Icemaker stopped making ice

Ice maker, I don't know where you can find the manual but I'll give you a few ideas of what to look for. First make sure that the inlet tube is not frozen over. Next, look at the center gear on the module and see if the clips in the center are not broken. If so you will have to replace the module. The ejector blades should be at the 2:00 position when home. If you get a jumper wire and jump T to H, this will by pass the bi-metal and run a cycle. The ice maker should fill at around the 12:00 position. Test points L & N will verify if you have 120v to the ice-maker. Test points L & H will test the resistance of the heater, 72 ohms. plus or minus 10%. Hope this gets you going, Catriver...post back.

SOURCE: My Ice maker stopped working

Yes, the short tube that goes from the back of the refrigerator to the icemaker can freeze up solid preventing any more water to pass thru. this is caused by a bad water valve that is slowly leaking water to the icemaker.

SOURCE: 8 year old Sub-Zero model 690. Condensor coil leaking

When copper and aluminum are connected it cannot be welded, it has to be crimped. this is a problem that is not exclusive to sub zero, an all aluminum evaporator ( if it is in the refrigerator it's an evaporator) should resolve the problem nicely

SOURCE: I have a sub zero 611 and water is accumulating

sounds like you have a blocked drain tube....when defrost system kicks in the melted water runs down a tube into a tray adjacent to the compressor and is evaporated by the heat. when the tube becomes blocked the water has nowhere else to go except overflowing and out through the refridge vent down the back and onto the floor of the refridge.

If you are hand with tools i can explain a procedure to fix this problem, If not call a service guy :)

My ice maker is making a clicking sound on my sub zero 650

Do you have water connected? Was it working before?

Disconnect the power to the icemaker. Does the clicking stop. If it does it is the servo motor. Sub Zero are highly overengineered, you will need a technician. These days they fix with a laptop.

Sub zero 245 stopped making ice, had service man out and he said wasn't getting enough water, and to replace cutoff valve and supply line and let thaw out. I did that and now have a water leak, but it is...

Most of the time the problem is the water valve that is electrically actuated by the ice maker controls. Remove the back panel and find the water valves and replace it. Many times sediment or wear and tear causes the valves to stop working properly or it becomes clogged with rust from the water pipes. If, the leak is at the ice maker then perhaps the problem is the water tubing alignment to the ice tray or the ice isn't dumping out of the tray, because the ice tray defrost element/ thermostat/ switch malfunction in the icemaker itself. It's difficult to find the cause without an experienced and competent refrigerator repair technician (such as myself) diagnosing the refrigerator onsite.

Sub-Zero 632 Ice Maker Leaking into Ice Bucket

Ice Maker is overflowing and leaking into the ice bucket: There are several things to check for.
Go for the easy stuff first, make sure the icemaker is level, some of the plastic liner fridge's will move and allow the icemaker to tilt over and leak. Other troublemakers..... the fill valve
staying on and over filling the icemaker..... the finish sometimes comes off the icemaker body and all the ice cubes don't come out. This will allow the new water to fill on top of an icemaker
that still has a ice cube or two left inside the body, if you have had trouble with black specs in your ice cubes, this may have been the beginning of your finish problem on the icemaker body.
On the module style ice makers (Whirlpool, Maytag Family, Sub Zero) the printed circuit in the
module head often wears and the contacts become too long and allow the icemaker to over fill = new ice maker or new module head.
waterfilladjustment.jpg
Older style icemakers: This gear is bad for breaking and the icemaker quits turning to eject the ice.
You can remove the front cover to see the gear.
This is a common parts breakdown of the older style icemakers

Water fill volume: The water fill adjustment screw will change the fill volumes by changing the fill time.
One half to one full turn usually ( approx ) is equal to 20cc ( 0.68oz ) to 40 cc.
The correct fill is usually 130 to 150 cc ( 4.5 to 5.0 oz ).
When a water valve is replaced the fill volumes must be re-checked!
