Restart your router (pull power for 10 secs and replace). Wait for the router to reset and reconnect. I have found that internet connections to devices often have difficulties reconnecting from time to time. It may be the issue of automatically assigning IP addresses?

Can't connect to xbox live

Disconnect your router and reconnect it. Power it down and power it up. Restart the 360. If that doesn't work, wait 20 mins and retry. If that doesn't work, you need to reset your internet connection. Call your host company. Please leave me a good rating, thanks! :)

My bb 8520 curve doesnt want to boot past that blackberry logo on start up , whn i try to load OS using application loader it gives mer an errror message that its cant read the device pls help

Hi there!
Try pulling the battery out while your BB 8520 is switched on. Hold the power button for 30 seconds before connecting the battery back. turn on your phone and reconnect it if it asks you to reconnect. If this doesn't work, I suggest bringing it to a qualified technician.
Hope this helps.

My blackberry storm stopped recieving and outgoing calls soon after i upgragraded my blackberry desktop manager while my phone connected to pc.even on my desktop manager it is showing disconnected. please...

The issue you describe appears to be corruption of one or more system files within the BlackBerry OS or that a file is locked in process and does not let the BB connect as it should. Below you will find 2 solutions to help resolve your issue.

If you wish to restore the BB, please continue below after verifying that you have the following:

A. Computer (Windows)
B. BlackBerry Desktop Manager software (BlackBerry.com)
C. Latest version of the BlackBerry OS for your make/model BB
D. BlackBerry USB Data Cable

A. Battery Pull

1. Remove the battery cover and battery from your BB.
2. Wait about 1 minute, then reinsert the battery.
3. Power on your BB and test it by making a phone call to test for outgoing calls.
4. If it works, proceed to step #5. If not, then skip down to solution B, step #1.
5. Ask someone to call you to test for incoming calls.
6. If it works, put the battery cover back. If not, then skip down to solution B, step #1.

B. BlackBerry OS Software Update
Note: A forced update should restore your BB to working condition, but there is the risk that you may lose your data. If that is a problem, do not proceed.

To get the OS, simply logon to your carriers website and download the latest version of the OS for your BB. Once the file is saved to your computer, you need to install the setup files just like you would any other program. When completed, proceed to step #1.

1. Open BB Desktop Manager
2. Remove the battery cover, battery and microSD card (if you have one) from your BlackBerry.
3. Connect the BB to your computer via USB cable (without the battery in place, just the phone's shell).
4. There should be a few drivers that will load automatically and the BB Desktop Manager will recognize your BB.
5. Close the BB Desktop Manager once it has been detected.
6. Go to the following path. C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
7. Double-click the "AppLoader.exe" application
8. Once it loads, the application will detect your BB and proceed to update your BlackBerry's OS.
9. If you are prompted to backup your BB data, please do so. If not, then proceed to step #10.
10. Select wipe (or secure wipe) to completely remove the existing OS and data.

A fresh, updated version of the BlackBerry OS will be installed on your BB. The process takes about 35-90 mins to complete. Once done, the BB will automatically reboot and if you had an existing backup or created one before wiping/installing, you can now reopen the BB Desktop Manager and restore your backup to the BB.

Every time I do a restart, I lose the internet connection from any browser. Specs: ? Vista ? Toshiba Satellite L355 ? Apple ''Airport'' router (it looks like a flying saucer)

Hi,

I think you are using any third party wireless device to connect your computer wirelessly so you simply need to connect your computer with the software of that third party device that you are using that will only resolve your concern
and if not then i suggest you to reinstall the wireless card on your computer and tried to reconnect and check teh connection after restarting the computer.

I hope that will resolve your concern

Thanks
Harmeet :)

Hi, The issue seems to be with the modem. It should reconnect you even if the lease expires and is renewed. you may try upgrading the firmware for the modem. You may also reset the modem and reconfigure it.

Rate it, if it helps.

Macbook Airport Problems

You should check to see if you have the connection set to static or to scan. Your computer could be set to scan, and so when it recieves a stronger signal, even if it is for a second, it will disconnect from the signal you have current. You can go to system preferences , select NETWORK, go to show, then AIRPORT, make sure your signal of choice is at the top of the list.
