It is on the right side of the machine behind the grouphead if you remove the top panel you will see te box with the red switch sticking out. MAKE SURE THERE IS WATER IN THE MACHINE FIRST!!!!!! Do not trust the sight glass, if the level probe is in there, turn machine to 1 then disconnect the electrical connector on the side of the sight glass, the pump should kick in and water will flow in the boiler, if the level does not increase in the glass, then the machine turned itself off because the element got too hot from lack of water. The hole for the sight glass is blocked.

We have a Faema E92 Elite, 3 head. The display keeps giving an error code: Boiler overpressure E1. Already replaced the heating element (the gasket as well). How do we get rid off the error message?

You have one of two things going on here, the boiler is really over a safe pressure (very dangerous condition if error is for real) or the pressure sensor is malfunctioning. For safety sake I would have a professional look into this, a boiler explosion is a very dangerous.

There is an economizer valve on the machine that needs to be adjusted. I will assume it was pumping hot water, this is not a new installed machine, then the machine has scale buildup that is preventing the hot water from leaving the boiler through the tubes to the solenoid, only the mixed cold water is being dispensed. If this is a new installed machine, adjust the economizer on the boiler, remove the left panel for access. Big nut on the boiler you will see where it connects to the solenoid.

Trip switches of the boilers trip constantly on my faema machine. how can I fix it?

The element trip switches will go if the machine does not get water fast enough if they are not immersed in water, so to protect the element form overheating it will trip. Is there a sight glass to see the water level, I do not know what model Faema you have but most of the Due's have a sight glass on the left side front panel. Do you have a water filter and or softener, is that restricting the flow and need to be replaced, did the new ones if recently replaced get flushed before install, or maybe the water inlet tube where it connects to the boiler is blocked, has the technician checked and or cleaned that fitting? Can you use the manual fill to see haw fast water is getting into the boiler?

Repair heating element feama e97

Are you installing a new element or do you need to get a new one make sure you get an element gasket as well. Element is on right side of machine. Drain water 14mm plug under boiler. There are 4 wires on element two labeled 3, and one labeled 1, the other labeled 2. Element has 4 coils in two loops, top loop and bottom loop. 1 on top loop 2 on bottom loop the 3's on the other side.

Hi, I work with a Faema semi auto 2 group machine, why does the on / off switch have 2 settins on it??? just curious

Setting number 1 - turns on the groups and the inlet solenoid, so that the machine can fill and you can test the groups but it will not heat up. If the boiler is empty or you are setting the machine up for the first time you would turn it to one so that it can fill up, then you would turn to 2.

Setting number 2 - Turns on the everything, so the machine can heat up.

We've just had our Faema Due 2 Group serviced. Just started it up. Lights on and we've been waiting for 25minutes. Thought the guage would have moved by now. Any ideas? We are not professionals so are...

Check the knob setting, there is 1-0-2, make sure machine is turned to #2. I will assume that there is water in the boiler, check sight glass. If machine has been turned to #2 and after 10 minutes there is still no heat, check by running the group and testing water. then the hi-limit switch tripped and needs to be reset, if you remove the 8 screws on the top panel and look between the groups you will notice a red push knob in a rectangular box with 6 wires and a silver tube coming to it. Push in red pin, then turn machine to #2.

Bolier not working?

remove the top panel or front panel. Make sure there is water in the machine, and it is in the 0 position. Press the red reset switch, the turn the machine to 1, wait until boiler fills then turn to 2. If after machine fills at position 1 and you turn it to 2 and 1m minutes later there is no heat then your elements could be damaged.

Machine not heating - Faema E98

If reset is used alot it is possible that it is time to replace it. You should think of installing a water softener on the inline water(everpure7S0). For the machine being out of water is the probe on the boiler or in the sight glass?
If it is on the sight glass talk to the service people and see if they can refit it to the boiler that way it will be in contact with the water in the boiler and not whats in the sight glass, as those holes get clogged easily.
Have the element checked also, there might be a crack in the legs which could also be causing the thermostat to trip.

You may want to have a close look at the seats. There may have been irregular wear on one or more causing the leak. Try and make sure each one is back in its original location.
