Question about Computers & Internet
IBM projector needs a fan replaced but seems to be OEM version from Papst (Typ 512 F/39). From research, it seems that Papst 512 F/2 fan has a tachometer lead but have also heard about fans that have a ''Locked Rotor'' sensor instead. Anyone know how to tell the difference ?
A locked rotor indication will stop the rotation of the fan completely, however if the fan is still rotating then it wont show "locked rotor signal". If the projector is still under warranty then locate their nearest service center and get it rectified..................sodeep
