SOURCE: I was given Netflix (stream-in) for a gift, but can not get it to come onto our tv. Please help.

Your TV must be a 'smart' TV i.e. it should have software enabling it to connect to the internet and access features such as Netflix. If you don't have a 'smart' TV then you can purchase a set top box which can be connected to your TV and will allow you to access on-line services such as Netflix. If you have a 'smart' TV then you still need to connect it to your internet router, either with an Ethernet cable or via WiFi if the TV has WiFi built in (or you can buy a WiFi adapter for the TV). If you connect with an Ethernet cable then the TV will connect to your router (and internet) with no further setup. If you use WiFi then you will need to access the WiFi settings menu on the TV and configure the settings for your router.

SOURCE: How do I connect my new smart TV to Netflix, it keeps telling me that ther is no internet connection

The TV Needs to be connected to an Internet Connection!
Either Wirelessly, connected to a Hotspot - most likely your WiFi from either your modem or router, depending on how you get online?
Or... Your TV can be hard wired, with a cat cable directly from your Modem/Router to the TV.
If hard wired, double check in the settings page of your TV (Navigate there with your remote) and confirm this.
If wireless, again navigate to settings and scroll to Network Connections, or something similar, (can't be specific since you didn't provide make and model) choose wireless, locate your home network name, enter your Password, and your TV should now connect to Netflix, among other platforms.
Good Luck

OK, here are some easy solutions. First, do you have the TV connected to your internet or router? ( I know, redundant, but covering all the bases) Second,(and most important) Do you have a VALID Netflix account? For TV or game system streaming, you must have a current streaming account at least to access their servers. If you do, check a device you can connect to(PS3, XBOX360, PC) Netflix and check your sign in info. Often times, it is as simple as an accidental CAP or password issue. Good luck, and hope this helps.

Netflix wont connect on my apple tv and i'm connected to the enternet

  1. Test the Internet connection on the Apple TV

    1. From the main Apple TV menu, navigate to Trailers.
      • If you don't see Trailers: Select Movies, then In Theaters.
    2. Select any title and click Play. If trailer plays, the device is connected to the Internet.
    3. If you are unable to connect to the Internet, you may be having network connection issues.

  2. Restart the device

Restart your device by unplugging it from power for at least 10 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on with the power button. Restarting the device is often enough to restore your ability to connect to our service.

  3. Disconnect Apple TV from your Netflix Account

    1. Navigate to the main Netflix menu inside the application and click Logout.
    2. Select Yes.
    3. You will be returned to the Apple TV's main menu, at which point the device has been successfully disconnected from your Netflix account. You may select Netflix to sign back in with your account information or connect as a different user.

  4. Troubleshoot your Internet Connection
