Hi...
If the music file is corrupted there is nothing you can do to fix it, re-download it.
If none of the music files are playing which worked fine earlier then it is problem with the player. First step to perform is still to download a fresh mp3 file to the player and try.
Take the battery off for few hr, then retry.
If still no go there is problem with the firmware, have to contact the manufacturer to flash the software.

Let me know
Thanks
Smith

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Nokia 3100c music file not found error how to resolve

Hello there,

The reason your phone keep saying music file not found is because the file has been corrupted and cannot be played.

What you have to do is to flash your with the appropriate software and cable then you try to transfer all those songs again.

Then you will be able to play your music file.

Take care

Can't play any music

chances are your driver on your pc is corrupt. uninstall your driver from your pc for your phone then re install it. then go to verizons web site to see if there is an update for your device and download and install on your pc. delete all music files on the sd card( i know this is not probably what you want to do but chances are the music files are corrupt as well.. after you do all of these steps sync the phone to the pc and download one music file to the phone go in your applications page on the phone find the file and then transfer it to the sd card. remove the usb cord from the phone then play the file on the phone it should work properly

Error

Can you play at least one music from your mp3 player? If yes, the file that you're trying to play when this message appears may be corrupted. Try having another copy of the music that you want to play on your mp3 player. If you can't play any music that you transferred, possible causes could be :

1. Your mp3 player was reformatted to another file system that is unrecognized by the mp3 player.

2. The flash memory of your mp3 player was bad
3. The songs that you're trying to transfer is not known by the player ( file types other than .mp3)

File error

What's the music format of the songs that you placed on your mp3 player? Some MP3 Players only capable of playing song files with .mp3 extension and are incapable of playing other music format like wav, wma, etc. Check also the contents of the player for corrupted files and foreign files. Some viruses from a computer could affect the performance of your mp3 player.
