It depends on your Service providers. Just Pull you Sim out and then put it back, then turn on your Mobile. It will reinsert the SMS Center No.
If this helps, kindly do Rate! and if it doesn't, then reply me your Service Provider name i'll google it for you. Regards.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Cant get any text messages

hi check you have enough memory by deleting old text inbox/outbox/sent/drafts if after doing this you still cant recieve texts then you need to contact your service provider and ask them for your message center number and ask them how you set this up cuz if you have enough memory then the chances are your message center number is wrong so calling your service provider will give you the correct number and they will tell you how to change this, they wont charger for this service ok.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance

E66 wont send a text, message goes straight to out box. can make and take calls, rcves texts but wont broadcast...swapped sim to another handset and works fine ??? any ideas ..Thanks martin

this problem is due to the text message service center number
text message service center number option is available text message settings
in this you can see service center number
Note down on any paper as it is (+9198xxxxxxxx)
then delete the service center number
after deleting create or add the new service center number
in this you fill the same number which you note down in your copy
save it and go back to main screen
then restart your phone
your can than send/ receive messages

if it not works go to the shop and get the text message service center number and follow the same procedure but the number you fill is you get from the shop. (NOT THAT NUMBER WHICH YOU NOTE DOWN IN YOUR COPY).

good luck

rate it

Can't receive an picture message an i can't send a text message

You'll have to call your service provider. The SIM card stores a phone number for the network's text message center. For some reason, this phone has a glitch where it deletes the center number. Your service provider might be able to update it remotely but I had to take the SIM out and place it in an older phone so I could enter the text message center number manually. This fixed the problem.

Hope this helps

Text Message Problem

There is a message center number which is assigned automatically by your service provider. You may have accidently deleted or modified the number. Unless the message center is correct, you may not be able to send any messages. Now, what you need to do is contact your service provider and get this number. Cheers
