Question about Dell Inspiron 6400 Notebook
My wife put my laptop on standby last week and then left it and went to bring it back up and the windows logo screen with bios info came up but showed an error with the change in HW or SW... it shut down my system to prevent any further data loss?
When i found this out i was like...could be a HW issues or possibly a bad real to the HDD.
I thought my hard drive crashed...but after purchasing another hard drive...it's seems to be a hardware issue within the mobo...with the interval timer channel 0 (mode 0). Is there a reset method for this... or do i have to reset my CMOS? I was going to pull the battery to reset...but i'm researching more before i attempt it. How do i go about resetting?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
