Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: DELL MASTER RESET?????
When booting up to Win XP you may get a error that reads "Unmountable Boot Volume". This is probably because your boot.ini file is messed up.
You should be able to restore your windows installation.

If you lost your CD key, you'll have to contact Microsoft Tech Support.
Assuming your PC is actually running and you just want to write down the key for your present install, Google "Belarc Advisor", download and install it, and run it. Near the bottom of the screen, all your CD keys and serial numbers for your installed software will be displayed. I hope this helps.

There is a problem with the auto-extractor.
Manually extract the files from the downloaded file using Winzip and extract to a new folder. Then run Setup.exe from that folder.
Also, make sure that your Temp folders have been cleared out.
The latest version of WinZip may be downloaded from http://www.winzip.com
