Question about BFG Technologies GeForce 7800 GTX OC , (256 MB) PCI Express Graphic Card

Apacer Micro Sd (adaptor) not read by computers.

Hey,
I bought an apacer micro sd card for my camera, which works great in the camera, but is not read by either of my computers. One computer has Vista installed, and the other just an older windows (2004?), so i dont think its the program. Tried to download some sort of combatibility program, but couldn't find one. Also tested the card in my phone, works fine. Its 4GB. Also tried hooking the camera up to the computer with the card inside, rather than inserting the card directly into it. Still no luck. Quite desperate to get photos uploaded!
Great if you could help.

Apacer sd card

What is wrong with the SD card?
Do you have an older digital camera and you recently bought a new SD card?
Older cameras only can work with SD cards. Most of the cards you can buy now, are SDHC or when 32 GByet or bigger, SDXC
Only when the manual says you can use SDHC and or SDXC cards the camera can handle these cards. Only few cameras that were made close to the date SDHC came along, got a firmware update, to make the camera compatible with the greater volume the cards can hold. So if you used to have cards smaller then 2 Giga Byte great possibility your camera only can work with SD cards. Only if you know where to look, you could find a 4 Giga Byte SD card. Still not sure your camera could handle that amount of space.

Hi Brad. The memory card is a Apacer SD 256 mb

I suggest to use the card into another computer and make sure it is read ..If this is the case..it means the issue is with the card reader of the computer ..and probably the lack of the reader's driver is to blame ..
anyway ..I will try to link the driver here ...all you have to do is select the operation system you use...download the driver and run into computer ..restart and try to see if this fixes the issue ..If several trying will not fix it ..it may consider the possibility your card reader to be faulty .

Like I said ....select the operation system ..than download the storage driver ...(6in one card reader )

My Pavillion dv 1000 wont read a micro SD card (in adapter) My camera recognizes and uses the card fine (with adaptor). My laptop recognizes standard sized SD cards fine also. It is not a HC micro SD. ...

If its above 2 gb most older laptops won't because the card is in FAT and not FAT 32. cards 4 gb and over are written differently you can hook your camera up to your computer and transfer then that way or purchase a HCSD card reader for higher capacity cards.

How shall i put in a kingston 1gb micro sd in a All in 1 card reader

You should have 2 components with your micro SD card. The card, a small adaptor and a large adaptor. All you need to do is see what size adaptor your read needs. You place the card in the tiny slot in the adaptor and slide it in the reader. The computer will find the micro SD and install the driver to read it. Then it will give you an option to open the files. That is how 99% of them work.
