SOURCE: I have a ceramic akribos watch and the butterfly

I suggest you have to pop in to your nearest watch repair shop and ask watchmaker to take a look at clasp first.I t is impossible to tell if the clasp is repairable or not over the internet, as there are plenty of possible causes to make it pop open. If the watchmaker will tell you that there is no chance to repair it, then you will need to contact AKRIBOS yourself. Here is the link to contact AKRIBOS: http://www.akribos24.com/#/contact At the right bottom corner of the screen you will find AKRIBOS phone number. Good luck and I hope it helps.

Akribos xxiv AK736BK.. How do you resize the band? I got this for my boyfriend's bday gift and it just slides right off his hand. Help please.

Each link near the clip has a Spring- loaded PIN securing it to the other link, remove as many links you need and join the two open ends back together, a watch shop will do it too. $$

How do i adjust the band on the slimline mesh skagen watch

Step 1. On the reverse of the strap you should see a succession of ridges. You will also notice a corresponding ridge on the clasp. Sounds obvious, but once you have decided where the clasp should reside on the strap, you need to align these two ridges.

The reverse of the strap
Step 2. Get a piece of string or ribbon and wrap it around your wrist. Snip the string so that one end meets the other and measure this diameter.
Step 3. On the other end of the strap you will see the hook which goes over the clasp - you will see the next picture. From this hook the measured distance will be where the end of the string lies.

The clasp mechanism - the watch is to the right of the picture
Step 4. This is the tricky bit! Insert a small screwdriver into the hole on the main clasp part, from the right hand side and bend it down towards the strap thus opening the clasp. Do not insert a tool from the left side, under the clasp and use the bar as a fulcrum; you will bend this rod and the watch strap will not hook over it. Move the clasp to the desired position and gently locate the ridge nearest the position. Once located, press down on the open clasp until it clicks into place - voila!

The clasp on my steel watchband pulls away from the band creating a large gap. it looks bad and catches on things. what do i do?

You need to make sure that if you had the watch band adjusted they did not adjust it at the clasp. When you adjust the watchband links should be removed if you adjust it at the clasp the band keeps pulling open. When you open the clasp fully make sure the pins are on the end holes. If the pins are in the end holes then, the clasp is probably sprung somehow and you will need a new one or have a jeweler or watch repairman fix it! You may also be able to order a new clasp from manufacturer! Hope this helps!!

I purchased an EBEL watch at an auction model 1911, still in box Upon looking at it I can't figure out how to open the clap on the band in order to slip it over my hand, and am afraid to try to force it...

mcdevito75 here, Look for any kind of lip on the clasp you can slip a finger nail under to lift, also look along side of the clasp as this clasp may have tabs you simply squeeze to open it. If this fails, simply stop into any small watch repair shop in your area for help.

Hello, I have received a just bling womans watch as a gift and can't figure out how to put the wrist ********. Just bling/ JB 6210 serial #17861854

Your watch has double folding clasp and it is opening by pulling bracelet exactly in the middle of clasp. Some clasps are very stiff, so, use a bit of force to open it. Here is the link where you can see how the opened clasp looks:

The clasp broke from my Fossil watch. Can the

mcdevito75 here, Without seeing the watch it"s hard to tell, but I would figure the clasp could be repaired, but the cost may equal a new band and clasp. Look for a small watch repair shop in your area and compare repair cost of the clasp with that of a new band.

It probibly is a tri-fold clasp or a "hiding clasp" When you look at you watch can you see a clasp? If not you just need to pull from the middle if the back of the band. One end will open to the left another will open to the right. Don't be afraid to pull on it, that probibly is the main problem your having. Movado makes a solid band that can take some punishment
