Question about Nu Mark Numark CD-Mix-2 Dual CD Player/Mixer Combo System
Just like with any CD player, the optics have lifetimes. Either the optics are dirty and can not read the disk or they have failed. These units use KSS-213 optics assemblies from Sony, if I remember correctly. These can be purchased for around $25. Any one with audio repair experience should be able to replace them for you.

Are the cds youre playing burned or copied cds? i have a friend that had the same issue with the same deck but listen closely.....his deck could read burned cds, but when he bought a new computer and started to burn on his burning program and AT A FASTER BURN SPEED the deck could no longer read the cds...we found this out when he lowered the burn speed on his comp....not sure if this youre issue but i thought it be worth mentioning
