The front bank is bank 2, the rear one is bank one. The cylinders go from the timing belt side to the right. So 3 is the middle on the back bank, and four is the middle cylinder on the front bank. They are both in the middle so just replace them.

Fouled spark plug or plugs or bad ignition coil or coils. Your OBD2 TEster should tell you which cylinders to check.

Can code p0306 cause codes p1135 an p1155 to come on on a 1999 lexus es300

hello, the fault code [generic-po306] is a cylinder 6 misfire, and can throw up manufacture specific p1135 and p1155. get a local garage to remove the number 6 plug from your lexus, and view the electrode end to see if it is 'oiled up'as you could have an internal engine problem, however it is rare to just have 1 cylinder with a specific problem, and will most commonly be the coil, you would be better off to replace all the 6 spark plug's and the 1 coil for that defective cylinder, hope that helps, regards.

I have a 1999 Lexus ES300 and I ran an OBD2 code reader on it. It gave me an error code of P1305. Which states Igniter #2 circuit malfunction. Is the igniter the same as the coil? This problem happens...

P1305 Igniter Circuit Malfunction No. 2 (1998-2000 Land Cruiser, 2000 Celica & Tundra)
this code is a toyota code so i would say it means the coil but the generic code says its cylinder no 5

P0305....Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected

so somewhere their is a faulty coil

My 1999 lexus Rx300 has misfires. we recently replaced all sparkplugs and it still continues. we are getting reading codes of P 0300, 0301,0303,0305 plus p1305,1315 and 1325. My local part department...

Replacing plugs is not a complete tuneup. Problem could be in plug wires or in coil that fires the plug. If you lookup codes and identify cylinders that are misfiring, try disconnecting that plug wire on both ends (plug on one end, coil on the other) and substituting a different one temporsrily. If your coils are mounted directly to the plug, try swapping coils between cylinders to see if the problem shifts to a different cylinder.

cylinder 2&3 misfiring, inspect plugs if ok, mark and swap coil packs for known good ones clear codes, run eng brake torque it rev to cause missfire, repeat until check eng, lite comes on, recheck codes if changed cylinders replace coil packs if not, you have two bad injectors.
