Did you set your BIOS advanced video settings for your new AGP or is it still set as PCI default? Just a thought...Also, some Motherboards can be real mothers...I'd check the M Board specs and AGP criteria specs allowed. Connection speed should not have any bearing on your problem.

This is gigabyte's link for your board, there are 4 different revisions, you can see the different choices at the top. Anyway, you have a PCIe x 16 slot so you could go with a Radeon HD graphics card, ATI has a DVI to HDMI adaptor that works great. Two things, what is make and model of the card you are installing and where are you getting your download from? You may have to dedicate the slot in Bios. Let me know.

How could we know the right model to download the right audio driver in your PC

You need the model number of you computer mainboard, if you are using onboard audio and if you are using a sound card you would need the model number of that card. The model number of the mainboard can be found, either between the PCI, PCI-Express, AGP slots or near the RAM slots.
So it's the name of the manufacturer of your computer mainboard, eg: Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Abit, Foxcon etc... and the number that follows.

Then go to the manufacturers website and under the support heading, find your mainboard audio drivers.

Gigabyte Radeon HD 4650 1GB (AGP) - unknown PCI device

Hello.

ATI (AMD) does not "technically" support AGP products, but go to this link.

http://support.amd.com/us/kbarticles/Pages/CatalystAGPHotfix.aspx

To download the driver. Versions 9.6 and 9.7 will work, depending on your OS. Just download and install the drivers and the yellow exclamation mark will go away.

For more information please visit: http://forums.amd.com/game/messageview.cfm?catid=260&threadid=117644

Hope that Helps.

Driver installer doesn't install drivers. :S Gigabyte GN-WPKG

Hi,
The problem could be caused,as you are also missing the chip-set drivers for the motherboard. You need to download and install the chip-set drivers for the motherboard first. Then install the wireless card driver and it would solve the problem.
Sometimes the conflict is also caused, due to faulty installation of the os.
1. Remove the entries of the PCI, from the device manager. 2.Remove the wireless card from the computer.
3.Restart the computer. 4.Shut down again, 5.Put the card back in and then install it one more time.

PCI EXpress 2.0 is backward compatible with PCI Express 1.0 by the way.

AGP card support

Hi, Unfortunately no AGP slot nor PCI-E. The Gigabyte GA-8I845GV motherboard has only 3 Expansion Slots and all of the are PCI (33MHz & PCI 2.2 compliantt). From their website, here's an image of the motherboard http://www.giga-byte.com.tw/FileList/Image/motherboard_productimage_ga-8i845gv_big.jpg It has a built-in Intel® Extreme Graphics Engine (845GV chipset) for video with max of 128 mb shared memory. Should you wish to install an add-on 3rd party PCI video card, Inno3D FX5500 256ddr PCI slot tv-dvi are still available (at least in my location) for an equivalent of about 3.5K INR (80USD+). Hope this gives you an idea. Good luck and kind regards.
