Hi...

This is a Operating System problem, did you face and error during you've reformat your computer. Some of the components of your Operating System are corrupted you need to re install the windows CD to fix the problem.
Mostly of the causes in this problem is not shutdown the computer properly,

Note: If you can not shutdown you computer properly it will cause file corrupted.

I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 stuck in windows boot manager file \windows\system32\config\system status: 0xc000014c info: windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing or corrupt ...

Here's part of an article on how to replace that registry file:

Look in the C:\windows\system32\config\regback\ folder.
There should be copies of the registry files stored inside that folder.
They are backed up periodically and stored in that folder.

If you create a MiniWin, BartPE, or a Linux Live CD, you can start the computer from CD and move the file system to the required folder, C:\windows\system32\config\.

IMF.exe missing component rtl120.bpl how to restore it?

error is a common system error which tells you that rtl120.bpl file is missing or corrupted when you try to open certain files, applications or just start up the computer. Usually rtl120.bplerror happens when there is a conflict in the path of the Dynamic Link Library or when there is some missing/ corrupted entries in Windows registry. rtl120.bpl error may cause the related programs stop functioning and accesses areas of your system memory incorrectly.
Method 1. Fix rtl120.bpl error Manually by Going Tweaking The Registry Keys.
  • a. Click "Start" menu--"Run"--type in "regedit".
  • b. Delete these registry keys as below manually:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun
list.jpgMethod 2. Fix rtl120.bpl error by Disabling Related Programs from Startup.
The DLL file would be infected by virus or Trojan. If the anti-virus program on your computer detects and deletes the infected file, you would probably receive error message alarming you that the DLL file cannot be found. You absolutely will fail to run the relevant application or program but keep receiving DLL error message on the startup. In such situation, you have to re-download and install the application to re-register the DLL information. Accordingly you have to disable an application run automatically on system startup in order to avoid such DLL error message:
  • a. Click "Start" menu--"Run"--type in "msconfig"---Start--- select the certain item to disable.
  • b. Reboot your computer.

Free reboot program windows failed to load because the system registry file is missing or corrupt. That's what I'm getting.

The registry is the file that connect all the other files of Windows together. If you don't have a backup for it then the only thing you can do is to reinstall Windows. If you need to recover some files before that then boot from a Linux Live-Cd and copy them to another external disk or memory stick.

Keep getting this message <window

Hello,
  • "Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
    <Windows root>\system32\hal.dll.
Please re-install a copy of the above file."

  • "<Winnt_root>\System32\Hal.dll missing or corrupt:
Please re-install a copy of the above file."

  • "Cannot find \Windows\System32\hal.dll"

  • "Cannot find hal.dll"
The "missing or corrupt hal.dll" error displays shortly after the computer is first started. Windows XP has not yet fully loaded when this error message appears. CauseCauses of the "missing or corrupt hal.dll" error include, naturally, a damaged hal.dll DLL file or a hal.dll file that has been deleted or moved from its intended location.Additional causes may include a damaged or missing boot.ini file or possibly a physically damaged hard drive.

Please let me know you have any further questions or concerns.
Thanks.
