Installed bbc iplayer but cannot open it - BBC Computers & Internet

I find the K-lite Codec pack covers just about every video format. The included older style windows media player classic is also far less problematic than windows media - download 'Full' version here;

Usually what has happened is that the Beeb blocks the ip#'s that anchor uses. Anchor then does a change and it shows up as ip#'s outside of that range and it works again. Until the next time.

I think the longest I have had anchor down was a bit over two weeks. Usually it is off for a day or so every few weeks. Just keep trying Anchor is are pretty good at getting it working again quickly.

Hi there !

You need to upgrade the flash player you are using because the website does not recognized it anymore or it needs higher version of flash player installed in your computer. I have same problem this before and it works.

I am sure it will solve your problem.

your internet connection is probably slow.

you can also try to close all running applications and try streaming videos again. If this doesn't work, then it's most likely with the internet connection. If you're connected via wifi, try to get closer to the router and see if it changes anything.

Also try to connect to other router and see if this does different. If it plays better then you need to upgrade your broadband.
