Step 1:Connect the Switch using the console cable given in XP MachineStep2:Start-programs accessories->>Accessories-->>>Hyperterminal- a new window will openStep 3:type en ->enable command config t->configuration ip address (type ip here)ex:172.20.0.3 ( type subnet mask)255.255.0.0 wr->save command
