Hello there:
here is a real good place to start troubleshooting first
the heating element , when this element is nearing the end of the life cycle and may need to be replaced .. It will start to intermittently heat and than no heat. i would also check all of the wires around all of the switches ect ect and i understand that you have cleaned all of the lint but do you self a favor and if you can get the panels off the dryer lint likes hiding in the pack panel and around the lint trap and around wires . so i hope that this has helped you out a little bit on what to look for ok.
best regards mike

Dryer putting out hot air but clothes not drying

You have some blockage between lint trap and where the unit vents outside.

Outside of dryer gets hot, but clothes do not dry. Where dryer vents to the outside has little to no pressure coming out. Inside of dryer has completely cleaned of excessive lint.

Your dryer has some internal ductwork. If it gets clogged, your dryer can't dry properly. In most dryers, to get to the internal ductwork to clear the clog, you have to substantially disassemble the dryer. A quick way to check for internal clogs is to remove the lint filter and use a flashlight to inspect the inside of the duct. If it looks clogged and you can't clear it using your vacuum.

We have a combo dryer and washer. Washer is A2444330KH. Leaves lint on cotton shirts, have cleaned the filter no help. Any ideas? David

Dryer lint not only presents a problem by cluttering up your clothes with white specks, but it can also lead to a dryer fire. While it is impossible to completely eliminate dryer lint, you can take action to drastically reduce lint and the potential problems that come along with excess dryer lint. If your clothes take more than one cycle to dry, you see no lint on the lint screen, the clothes are very hot after drying or you find excess lint on the clothes after drying, you probably have a problem with accumulation of dryer lint in the dryer vent.
Use a dryer vent cleaning brush and clean the dryer vent, or hire a professional to clean the exhaust vent behind your dryer. If your dryer vent is clogged, it will create excess dust in the dryer and on the clothes. The excess lint can eventually catch on fire given the heat load of the dryer.

I have a problem with dryer not putting enough heat out to dry my clothes. The model #ler4634jq0.The Serial# ml3372706

this may be the result of a clogged vent hose ,Go outside and check the outside dryer vent they sometimes clog up with lint and as a result send false info to the sensor inside the dryer, make sure you clear any excess lint from here, and then do same at the back of dryer where flex hose comes from rear of dryer up into wall then turn on dryer and feel at rear outside vent and see if you can feel the hot air moving more rapidly if so this should resolve your problem

Cloths take way too long to dry. Heat is working in dryer. Timer works, counts down from 60 min, buttheremo drying timer takes way too long.

You will need to check the dryer venting system for a restriction. If there is a restriciton in the venting system the dryer will get hot but the clothes will stay wet due to the moisture never leaves the dryer. First check the air flow at the vent exit located outside. Verify that there is plenty of airflow. Make sure the vent screen is not plugged. Then remove the screen and visually inspect for excessive lint. Then go inside and check the moisture vent hose behind the dryer. Verify that the vent hose is not kinked or restricted. Then remove the hose and clear out any excessive lint. Then check the vent opening at the back of the dryer for any excessive lint build-up. There is a vent cleaning kit that you can purchase from any home improvement store that you can use to clean out the venting system also. When you are done airflow should be good and clothes should properly dry.

Dryer overheats and shuts off

A common problem for the dryer overheating is due to a restricted moisture vent. First check the vent hose and make sure it is not kinked or restricted. Then pull the hose off and check for excessive lint. Pull any lint you find inside the dryer vent opening and in the moisture vent hose. Then verify that you are getting plenty of air flow from the vent exit outside. It is possible that you have excessive vent build-up between the wall to the outsied on the venting system. There is a kit you can buy for cleaning this system. If everything is clear then there could be a problem with the dryer thermostat.

I think your vent has lint in the line between the wall and the outside of your house not allowing the moisture to get out

FIX

1 when the dryer is running go outside and observe the vent to see if hot air is coming out

2 Turn dryer off, disconnect electric from wall

3 pull dryer out from wall

4 take a nut driver or screw and remove the clamp that attaches the flex vent pipe to the wall

4 Also remove the flex pipe from the dryer

5 Inspect inside vent connection inside dryer for any trapped lint

6 inspect inside flex line for any lint

7 Look inside wall vent for lint you can also reach in with your hand to feel for lint

8 If you have a leaf blower or can borrow one(electric is best) from your neighbor put the snout of the blower into the vent going into the wall seal the area between the snout and the vent pipe at the wall ( i use duct tape you can use wash clothes rags etc

9 start blower and blow any lint in the line out through outside THIS WILL CLEAR THE LINT

10 Reattach the flex to the wall vent and dryer , plug in. run a load and you should be back in business

Good Luck

GAS or Elect. does not make a diffrence 95% of drying too long problems are from a clogged vent try to run a normal load with the vent off the the back letting the hot air into the house if it drys normal then you need to clean out the venting going to the outside If you are worried about the lint blowing inside you can put an old pantiehose over the vent to catch the lint dust
