Question about Indesit 24 in. DI67 Free-standing Dishwasher
HI: I am a single woman who likes diy. First I broke my outhose while trying to clear a blockage in it. I ordered a new one and replaced it: no problem. Then I had to reconnect the inlet hose because it was too short to allow the machine to be pulled out...and I broke that. So I replaced that with a longer one, ran a soak cycle, no problem. Pushed the machine in place, left it a couple of days and now, lo and behold, I turn it on and it will not fill. No noise other than the beep beep beep for the resetting each time I turn it on and off and reset. Anyone out there who knows what caused this????
I have solved my problem: I checked the water hose etc...all worked fine. I unscrewed the float valve (difficult to put it back, have to use pliers to pull it up and then scissors to hold it in place while screwing the top back on. Magic! It worked!!!
(the float valve is inside on the bottom, behind the spray arm- but if you have already unscrewed everything to access the base of the dishwasher then the best thing is to leave it on its side with the door open so that you can access both the top and the bottom of the valve (you will need a helping hand). Good luck!!!!!
