occasionally on the 1x0 range there is a valve stem issue that cause air to be allowed into the ink tube system and aslo for the ink to start crystalizing causing blockage , unfortunatly the fix includes a full set of ink tubes and possibly new printheads to complete the calibration
Seems to me that deposit of wasted ink is full. Try w/ a Quill tip o fabric clean excess of ink in the waste compartment (gently). Also cean the brushes.
<Remedy> 1.Waste ink absorber Use SERVICE MODE>COUNTER>PRINTER>W-INK to check the waste ink absorber. Replace if the waste ink level is near the limit (14400). After replacing the tank, perform SERVICE MODE>INITIALIZE>W-INK.
It seems there are "new" chips & "old" chips in these ink cartridges for the HP 1200 inkjet printer. I have a cartridge with a "new" chip in and it is working fine. The printer doesn't read the "old" chips. Something to watch for when using refilled ink cartridges.
Maybe you can try to rest the black ink level 1st. To reset the ink level: 1) Goto the Lexmark Solution Center application. 2)
Press button Maintenance>Install a new print cartridge, follow the
instruction on screen. U may then have your new full ink level. Note: u
only can reset to full level, cannot customize the level by your own. Hope this help.
