Question about LG LFX25960ST Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator
When I called LG they said the water reservoir was only 32 oz. so I'd only get that much cold water at a time. That sounds wrong to me.
The water in the door does not really get that cold. The reservoir is located on the door, under the bottom shelf. The cover doesn't allow the coils to get that cold so the water in them doesn't get that cold. What you can do is take off the shelf, pop off the 2 screw covers and screws. Remove the cover and put drill some holes in the cover. Space them out, make it neat and it will look natural. This will allow the air to get to the coil and chill the water. I know the factory is looking at it, but no word on a change that is coming.

My owners Manuel says if water is not cold dispense ice first LOL
you could capture the water line before it goes in the filter and put a coil of tube some ware in the fridge.
