Question about Motorola Mobility MOTOKRZR K1 Cellular Phone

1 Answer

Zip-Linq USB Charge-n-Sync cable

I have a motorola krazr phone. Whenever I plug the usb cord into my phone the memory card does not read. I've installed the drivers for the cord. I've formatted the memory card in my phone. I've downloaded the V3 and V3C drivers. Is it possible that I missed something? Now I know that my phone is a little different than a razr, however, they should be compatible in most respects. Please help me as I desperately want to make use of my MP3 player on my phone.

Thank you all so kindly.

Re: Zip-Linq USB Charge-n-Sync cable

The easiest (and in my opinion the best) solution would be to obtain a usb adaptor for your memory card....once you format the memory card in your phone you can remove it and place in the usb are then able to directly drag and drop mp3,etc right from your pc on to the card....much faster way to do it by the way.....if your phone is like mines then it is probably blocking access to that portion of the card to encourage you to purchase music through your phone.

When i plug an lg usb cable into my computer and my motorola rival to sync music "unauthorized charger" appears and it wont work

You have to have a Motorola Rival charger to charge the phone. You also need it to sync to the computer. The Motorola Rival is a feature phone, so it's strict with the chargers it uses.

How can i put music on my motorola zn 5 with a usb cord?

You have different options to use to put music on your phone. You could download songs from the internet directly to your phone or you could collect songs on your phone from another phone, laptop or system.Through a phone all you need to do is to put on your bluetooth and transfer, but through the system or laptop you could use the bluetooth too or you could use a usb cable to transfer songs.

Having trouble putting music on LG VU

If it's plugged into the computer it will charge still. The phone doesn't come up and ask if you want to sync to data or music? If you have Windows Media Player open that up and go to the sync tab. Hopefully the program will find the phone.

Dont know how to connect my phone to computer so i can load pics from it? im using usb cable, mob is motorola razr pc is xp?

The should be some Sync software that you can get from motorola. You could also, take the memory chip out of the phone, and plug that nito a card reader, and transfer the music that way.

How can i find music i sync to my phone

Use MP3's, they have no problem.. simply plug into usb cord, (make sure usb settings are set to "memory card" and not data connection) and then you will be able to copy mp3s to it, use as ring tones etc

Cannot Sync music files

Have you set your memory card as the default connection? If not then go to your phones settings menu and select the connectivity option. Then select USB settings. Next select memory card as your default connection. Ok now your default connection is set so plug the USB adaptor into your computer then into the phone. If the computer does not automatically detect the phone  open the computers control panel and select add hardware. Follow the promps in the wizard. It should come up as USB mass storage device. Once your device is recognized there are a couple of different ways to get music stored on your memory card. First is to have whatever media player is on your computer to detect your device. Then put the songs you want to tranfer into the sync list. Once you have done that click start sync and it will copy them to your phone. If the first option is not an option then onto the next. Second is to click on my computer and select the drive letter that represents your phone(mass storage device). Once that is open select the file where your music is stored and highlite the files to transfer. Once you have the files highlited drag and drop them into the window for your phone. The files should start to transfer at that point. Wait for the tranfer to complete then disconnect the USB from your phone. Open the digital audio player on your phone. It should say "updating music directory" then main menu once it is finished updating. Scroll down and select songs you should now see a list of songs. Select what you want to hear and enjoy. The first is the easiest and best way to go. The second is not hard but is more bothersome. Hope this helps.

I cant down load

If you've got a memory card in your phone, you can set the phone to show up as a usb drive..

probably like this:

settings> connection> usb> default> memory card

then plug the phone in and it should show up as a drive.

if you've saved your pics to the phone memory instead of the memory card, you'll need to move them to the card, select each pic in the normal viewer, and press menu> move> memory card.

If you don't have a memory card, and don't want to get one, then pick up a copy of the motorola phone tools software, this will allow you to move pics on and off the phone, as well as put music on it, create ring tones, and back up your phone directory.
