Daewoo DVD-T "copy not possible - this media cannot be copied" when trying to copy from VHS (tape is not copy protected) to blank DVD-R and +R media. Same problem with all DVDs and VHS tapes

You can only copy non-commercial VHS tapes that you have recorded yourself to DVD. You can\'t make copies of most commercially made VHS movies due to copy-protection.

Darkening the copies

Here's information from the HP manual:
Use the copy features
The HP All-in-One enables you to produce high-quality color and black-and-white copies on a variety of paper types, including transparencies. You can enlarge or reduce the size of an original to fit a specific paper size, adjust the darkness of the copy, and use special features to make high-quality copies of photos, including
borderless copies.

Press Copy repeatedly to display the appropriate menu. The following menus are available:
– Number of copies
– Reduce/Enlarge
– Copy Quality
– Copy Paper Size
– Paper Type
– Lighter/Darker
– Enhancements
– Set New Defaults
2. Press the until the appropriate setting appears.
3. Do one of the following:
– To change more settings, press Copy.
This selects the current setting and displays the next menu.
– To start the copy job, press Start Color or Start Black.

To save the current settings as defaults for future jobs
1. Make any needed changes to the settings in the Copy Menu.
2. Press Copy repeatedly until Set New Defaults appears.
3. Press until Yes appears and then press OK.

This should help you.

What is the difference between deep copy and shallow copy

A deep copy makes a completely new independent copy of an object, including copies of any other objects it references. In a shallow copy, only references to other objects are copied, so the copy and the original may both reference the same object. The copy is not a completely separate duplicate. Google "deep copy vs shallow copy" for the language you're using. There are a lot of websites you can visit for information and examples.
